Longwood Gardens was first created by Pierre DuPont and now its extensive gardens and greenhouses are open to the public. There are ever-changing displays and garden-related activities to enjoy year-round.

Winterthur is an American country estate, the former home of Henry Francis du Pont (1880-1969), an avid antiques collector and horticulturist. Its gardens and extensive collection of antiques and Americana are now open to the public.

Tyler Arboretum is a 650-acre preserve where history, horticulture, and natural habitats come together. Extensive walking trails, a butterfly house, and historic buildings can be visited year-round.
